St. Gallen Christmas Market

With about fifty wooden homes, the tiny yet charming St. Gallen Christmas market captivates tourists visiting the famous city. Awaiting everyone who wishes to savor the reflective Advent season are handcrafted presents, festive décor, and gourmet treats.

This December, 700 stars will shine over the squares and alleys of St. Gallen's old town, illuminating the UNESCO World Heritage site's medieval façades with a festive glow. From mouthwatering treats to exquisite handicrafts from St. Gallen, the old town's twisting alleys provide something for every Christmas enthusiast.

Stalls
Monday to Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Exception: On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the stalls will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. because the star vernissage will take place.

Food stalls

Thursday (evening sales): 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
