Open cheese factories: Caseifici Aperti Event
Welcome to the Caseifici Aperti event, an exciting opportunity to discover the cheese-making tradition of Ticino, visit dairies located in beautiful locations throughout the canton, and indulge in a variety of excellent and delicious products!
The upcoming ninth edition, held in May, will feature 18 participating "caseifici" between Sottoceneri and Sorpaceneri, 14 of which will offer Ticino regio.garantie certified cheeses. Alpinavera invites everyone to take part in tastings of cheeses and food and wine products, guided tours to learn about the cheese-making processes, live music, and catering, making it a fun and tasty weekend.
