Alpine descent and farmer’s market

The farmer's market in Urnäsch is a fun event for people of all ages, with more than 50 stands offering food and drink, games, and a chance to see animals. Visitors can also enjoy the Säulirennen pig race, which takes place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Buebechörli choir.

In the morning, visitors can watch the alpine descents in the village of Urnäsch, as dairy farmers bring their herds down through the village between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The farmer's market is located on Kronenplatz, which is also a great spot to watch and listen to the cows as they pass through the village.
