Chasing Cancellara Zürich - Zermatt

The Zurich-Zermatt race is part of Fabian Cancellara's international race series called Chasing Cancellara. The race is known for its demanding course, with participants starting at the Prime Tower in Zurich and heading towards hillier regions via Buechenegg, Freiamt, and Sursee. After that, they face the climbs of Glaubenbielen and Brünig before reaching the biggest obstacle of the race, the Grimselpass. With almost 290 kilometers and almost 7,000 meters of elevation, Zurich-Zermatt is considered the toughest one-day race in Switzerland.

The finish in Zermatt takes place between 11.00 am and 07.00 pm on the "Obere Matten".
