Buskers Bern

For three days, the Old Town of Bern transforms into a lively and colorful event filled with street artists from around the world during the Buskers Festival. This festival has been held for over 30 years in different parts of the world, featuring a diverse range of cultural performances, including music, dance, comedy, puppetry, and art.

The festival grounds are filled with small venues, and visitors hop from one stage to the next to watch the street artists' shows. The Buskers Bern Street Music Festival was first held in 2004, and since then, over 150 performing artists and more than 70,000 fans attend the festival each year. Visitors can pay the performers directly by tossing money into their hats as an appreciation for their performances.
